About
The Shrine is a 2D platformer about a boy named Asher who embarks on a dangerous journey through the scorching desert to find the shrine that grants wishes to heal his ill mother. The game features challenging platforming mechanics, a unique thirst system, and atmospheric visuals. The game combines heartfelt storytelling with engaging gameplay elements such as puzzles, enemy encounters, and environmental hazards. This was my first ever group project in a small studio style environment working on Unity to develop the game while taking game programming class on Unity at the same time.
