About Me

Hi, I'm Yvonne! I'm a game programming student at UOW Malaysia, passionate about game development since secondary school. My journey began with RPG Maker VX Ace, where I created my first projects, and later expanded to tools like Ren'Py and Godot. Over the years, I've developed several games, but my real breakthrough came at university when I immersed myself in Unity, rekindling the excitement I felt when I first started. Currently, I'm working on my final year project using Unreal Engine 5.

I'm someone who's always eager to learn and improve, both as a game developer and a game programmer. I strive to write clean, efficient code and constantly look for ways to refine my skills as a programmer. My goal is to create games that not only feel great to play but are also fun and engaging. While I have the most experience with Unityfocusing on UI/UX, VFX and gameplayI've also worked with Unreal Engine 5. Although the transition from Unity was challenging, I persevered and gradually got the hang of it. For me, the most rewarding part of game development is seeing my hard work come to life and creating something that players will enjoy.
